Softwareupgrade Datacenter-Network - ACI Fabric LZR (beendet)

From Monday, 05.07.2021 to Thursday, 08.07.2021 software upgrades of the ACI-Fabric in the LZR are planned. The controllers and switches will be upgraded one after the other. The upgrade is urgently needed to fix bugs and to use new functions and new hardware.

The work will take place on all days starting at approximately 4:00 pm.

The following times are planned:
Mo, 05.07.: Upgrade of the controllers and first leaf switches
Tue, 06.07.: Upgrade Leaf Switches
Wed, 07.07.: Upgrade Leaf Switches and Spine Switches
Thu, 08.07.: Buffer for necessary rework

Although all affected components at LZR are redundant, due to issues identified during preparation, the Hyper-V cluster will be taken out of service for the update on Wednesday (07.07.).
This will result in an outage of the following services from 16:30 until approximately 21:00 on Wednesday (07.07.):
- SharePoint
- Remote Desktop Farm for teaching
- CATIA License Server

Subject to unforeseeable disruptions, there will be no other prolonged outages of services. Nevertheless, short-term disruptions cannot be completely ruled out.
