Load Balancer Update (beendet)

The software of the central F5 load balancers in the LZR will be updated. Preparatory work for this will take place on Tuesday, 21.09.2021. On Wednesday, 22.09.2021, the software will be updated in the period from 9 am to 4 pm.

Due to the redundancy of the devices, the upgrade will normally run without service interruption (of the load balancer).
In principle, however, the existing connections to the services behind the load balancer will be disconnected in the course of the upgrade during failover to the other device on September 22. This may lead to a brief interruption in communication between the clients and the servers of the services behind the load balancer. Usually, the connection is automatically re-established shortly afterwards and there is no lasting disruption
