Security updates on the central firewall and VPN gateways (beendet)

On Thursday, 06.10.2022, a software update of the central firewall of the TU Dresden and the VPN gateways (site-to-site, adminvpn.zih.tu-dresden.de, vpn2.zih.tu-dresden.de) will take place between 06:00 and 10:00.

The central firewall and the VPN gateway vpn2.zih.tu-dresden.de are designed redundantly and there should be no failure of the data network connection of the TU campus network/VPN connections.

The *site-to-site VPN gateway and adminvpn.zih.tu-dresden.de are not designed redundantly* and there will be *interruption of the adminVPN connections and the data network connection of the following remote offices* during the update:

- Botanical Garden
- SMWK eduroam
- Einsteinstrasse 9
- Printer HFBK
- Printer TU Freiberg
- Lockwitzer Street 15
- Zwickauer Straße 48
