Exchange of 217 WLAN access points (beendet)

In the period from 27.02.2023 to 17.03.2023, the WLAN access points in the following buildings that no longer meet the current requirements will be replaced with a more up-to-date model series.

The replacement will have an adverse effect on WLAN coverage (approx. 15-20 min) and in particular on WLAN telephony (up to 2 days).

The replacement will be carried out by Telekom as an external service provider. Please grant access to the rooms where necessary. If it is not possible for you to provide access personally, please leave a note on the office door with info on a contact person who can provide access.

No noisy or dusty work is required to replace the equipment.

Access points will be replaced in the following buildings:

- HAL
- HEI
- H53
- FAL
- KÖN
- VMB
- S7A
- VG1
- HSZ (06.03. - 10.03.)
- Guesthouse ‘Am Weberplatz’
- WEB

It is not possible to schedule exactly when which equipment will be replaced. For a rough orientation, the buildings are listed in the order in which they will be processed. The exchange takes place in each case in the time from 8:30 - 15:00 o'clock.
