The data centre firewalls in the LZR and TRE must be migrated to new switches. Due to the principle, these changes are not covered by the device redundancy and there will be some interruptions in service operation.

On Tuesday, 14.03.2023, the firewalls in the LZR data centre will be migrated between 9:00 and 16:00.
*Service interruptions (5-10 min each)*
12:00-13:00
=> Sharepoint
=> IDM system (e.g. password changes, coupon redemption etc.)
=> Campus4You
=> Terminal Server Farm
14:00-15:00
=> SLM System
Services such as central domain controllers and the VoIP system are provided by the redundancy site TRE and are thus permanently available. Telephones, softphones, ACD system and voicemail must temporarily re-register on the redundancy infrastructure, which results in short interruptions (1-2 min), softphones, ACD agents and CTI clients must re-register if necessary. However, ongoing telephone calls will not be interrupted.
On Wednesday, 15.03.2023, the firewalls in the TRE data centre will be migrated between 9:00 and 15:00.

=> Enterprise Cloud VMs in the TRE
14:00-15:00
=> Remote Console for virtual servers in the Research Cloud and Enterprise Cloud TRE.
Services such as central domain controllers and the VoIP system are provided by the primary site LZR and are thus permanently available.
