SLUB "Drepunct" & Mensa "Siedepunkt" - Outage of Data Network and VOIP-Connections (beendet)

On behalf of the Staatsbetrieb Sächsisches Immobilien- und Baumanagement (SIB), existing fiber optic connections as well as the head switch of the BZW are to be implemented or installed by the executing construction company in the main data distributor of the BZW on 12 March 2019 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. as part of the construction measures (data network upgrading for VoIP). This work will result in several long-term failures of the data network (LAN and WLAN) as well as VoIP telephony (if already present in SLUB and/or Mensa). Analog telephony will not be affected.



The failures will affect section A, section B, the glass annex, the SLUB "Drepunct" and the Mensa "Siedepunkt".

Subject to unforeseeable accidents, the data network should be available as usual from around 10 p.m. onwards.
